A Leading Car Dealership With A Strong History
Uptown Motors got its start in 1946 by Irv and Ray Pentler—and it’s been a family-owned business ever since. Now run by Glenn (president), John (general manager), and Mark Pentler (general sales manager and director of operations), we are proud to say that Uptown is the leading car dealership in the Greater Milwaukee and Slinger areas. It all started with a single dealership on the corner of 57th and Center Street in Milwaukee. We quickly outgrew our first location, ending up at our current location in Milwaukee in 1966. By 1991, we added a second location in Slinger to offer our customers even more.

Throughout our 70 years in the automotive industry, the Uptown difference has continued. What’s our secret? There isn’t one. We believe in providing good, old-fashioned service to our customers and it’s kept us running strong from day one. We treat every customer with the same outstanding service we would want to be treated with because “Uptown begins with you.” That means we take our customer service seriously. We go above and beyond to ensure your experience is a good one every time.

Our Employees Are an Extension of the Pentler Family
Our family-friendly environment at Uptown makes buying a vehicle a positive experience because we’ve instilled our deep family values in our employees. We treat our customers like family, and every team member is dedicated to satisfaction and professionalism.

We consider our employees to be a part of the Pentler family, and we strive to ensure their work environment is rewarding and productive. We’ve been ranked as a top place to work in Milwaukee by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for four consecutive years and we’re still counting!

The next time you’re in need of car maintenance or are out shopping for a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Jeep, Lincoln, or Ram, make sure you go Uptown. We stand behind the vehicles we sell and our team knows how to help you find the one that’s right for you.

We love this hobby as much as anyone. And we enjoy providing a place for friends and the public to ride at. We allow all vehicles: jeeps, atv's, dirt bikes , side x sides, 3 wheelers, dune buggies, and any other vehicle you may want to wheel. We have 3 levels of trails green, blue and black. We only cost $25.00 for drivers, and $10.00 for passengers, bystanders. Kids 15 and under are $10.00. Try going to six flags for that price. We do not have a age limit for a child. However if a child is on his own vehicle, and he or she is under the age of 18, they must have a adult with them at all times. A few rules: you must wear your helmet at all times on a atv, dirt bike or Side x Side. Everyone must have a flag on every vehicle except a dirt bikes. We sell flags for $15 in the office. That's pretty much it. So, have fun and drive safe out there.

The trail has many rocks, elevation changes and mud areas.

Heavy use of the area by irresponsible OHV users has caused much of this trail to be closed. From littering to excessive over sized tires making mud areas so deep, they become impassible. What was many miles of trails back in early 90's has now become a mile or less of broken trail.

This is a prime example of a user group not enforcing proper trail ethics, not having a local club presence and not working with proper land managers. The result is major closures to the system.

Wrangler Riders along with WOHVA and others want to try and save the current system from total closure and perhaps rebuild relationships with the Rangers and local community to bring back this area to former glory.

Be sure to check the documents in this listing as it contains some of the best history.
