Wrangler Riders Wisconsin represents Wrangler and SUV vehicles. Our goal is to open as many parks and trails as possible for SUV recreation in the state of Wisconsin. Our team will be going out and working with land managers, clubs, DNR and politicians to properly represent our members. We're dedicated to working with all other motorized state associations and clubs to create a synergy of recreational and tourism activity for the state of Wisconsin.

With all the website work and mapping I let the July and August renewals get behind (sorry). Everything has been sent or is going out tonight. If you go to the site and can't log in, it's likely because your membership expired. You can renew/join after your logged in (that's where it will keep wanting to point you) and we'll see that this is a renewal, not a new membership. This is important because members get achievements for their 2nd, 5th, 10th years etc. etc.

Without the memberships the trails we made wouldn't have happened, the site wouldn't have happened. I'll remind you all that our non-profit has no paid employees, it's all volunteers working many hours a week to keep this going.

I'm almost done with the site revisions, store market upgrades, rebranding work, mapping updates and all that stuff that sucks in the wee hours of the night/morning. I'm going to try and have a video for every page explaining the content. While words are beautiful, video is needed as words are hard to read on small phone screens. Again, lots of work but I'm willing to do it.

As for trails... sure, we don't have a lot of technical public trails right now, but we do have at least some off-road trails to start with and that's key. We at least have a start. It's even enough to put together poker runs and adventure tour contests together with (already have $100 in prizes for the first one of those). Let me get up the 20ish trails we have mapped in SEWI then go out and ride those, review those and post your images in those trail directories to show you've been there. This is more than some paper maps, this directory integrates with our community and provides real-time feedback.

Then, we'll get the online learning center up, trail ambassador and elder training up... a place where people can come and learn what trail riding is all about and then be a proactive part of making trail system work as riders and volunteers.

Thank you all so so much for all your feedback, help and support. We've done so much in so little time and we're going to make Wisconsin a premier RL4WD state worth coming to!

The Brat Days folks asked us if we want to be in the parade on August 4th. I realize that is during the GNTR hosted by WOHVA but I think I'm going to register for the parade since I missed the 4th of July parade. Having a hard time fitting in all the events, mapping, website work, real work and family time + promotions at things like car shows and parades.

I don't think I'll make the parade an event as I don't want to conflict with GNTR, I'll be fine going to this alone but if you're not going to GNTR you're welcome to join me.

  • Thanking about making a new 14' double-sided feather flag for RL4WD / Wrangler Riders. Updated site and logos on it. We use these flags for darn near everything as most of you have seen.

Any businesses want to slap their logo on it for $50? Whole flag is only $300. So far I have AAA Wisconsin Sheboygan - Adventure Insurance Agency, Aventuron, maybe Jeeps Are Life? AV Dynamics? Dean Herro you want to do The Jeep Guys again? It would be awesome to get a few more flags, but I'll start with one and go from there. Or sponsor a whole flag for $300? We share these flags between the club if someone has an event.

    Topsy Products is in
    Aventuron is in
    Monument Music is in
    Tidy Car is in

Here's an early mockup. It all depends on how many sponsors are in and such...

So I had to move Tigerton back to Oct. due to a few reasons (mainly insurance, volunteers and GNTR). Still waiting to confirm the date with the town board. Regan ONeill I let Jon at the camp know you may be calling about doing a day ride or something at the camp if you want to make something happen in July. Or mabe we do an elder traiing / trail ambassador training over a day or something?
